As a condition of registration and participation, attendees, sponsors, volunteers, speakers, organizers, venue staff, media, exhibitors, vendors and other guests (“Participant,” or “you”) are required to acknowledge and accept these DevRelSummit Event Terms. Participants are also expected to be respectful to other Participants, conference staff and contractors, and to abide by DevRelSummit’s Code of Conduct and incorporated herein by reference.
DevRelSummit (the “Conference”) reserve the right to change these and any conference-related policies from time to time. Any changes will be made with the utmost care for the purpose of creating a fair and enjoyable conference experience. Such changes will be effective immediately upon publication, on a going forward basis. You can access these DevRelSummit Event Terms at any time.
Registration and Payment
All Participants must register to attend DevRelSummit. Individuals with incomplete registrations will not be able to attend the conference.
Granting Participant Registration and Admission
DevRelSummit or their officially designated event management (together and individually, “ConferenceStaff”), in their sole discretion, reserve the right to accept or decline an individual’s registration. Further, Conference Staff reserve the right to prohibit entry or remove any Participant or other individual, whether registered or not, whose conduct, in their sole opinion is not in keeping with the Code of Conduct, these DevRelSummit Event Terms and the character and purpose of DevRelSummit. Without limiting the foregoing, Conference Staff reserve the right to remove or refuse entry to any Participant who has registered or gained access under false pretenses, or provided false information. Unauthorized solicitation anywhere at DevRelSummit is prohibited, and may be grounds for removal.
Ticket sales are final. After receiving the Proof of Purchase from the DevRelSummit registration website on your email address, no refunds will be issued.
You can donate your ticket to another person at least one week before the Conference starts. To do this, please send the ticket number, your name and surname as well as name and surname and email address of person who you would like to donate for, on the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. To verify registered Participants, Conference Staff might ask Participants to present a government-issued photo ID at registration to collect registration materials. When you check in at registration, you will receive a name badge. If you lose your badge it can be replaced for a fee. You must wear your badge at all times during the Conference. Individuals are not allowed to pick up badges for Participants other than themselves, unless Conference Staff give approval in advance of the Conference. Participants may not have another individual participate in their place at any DevRelSummit-related activity without Conference Staff prior approval.

Capture and Use of Images and Recordings by Conference Staff
You hereby: (A) grant full permission to Conference Staff to capture your image or likeness by any audio and/or visual recording technique (including electronic/ digital photographs or videos) during DevRelSummit, and to store, use, reproduce and create derivative works of these images and recordings (including, but not limited to, for resizing, color correction or digital reformatting) in any media now known or later developed, including for any DevRelSummit marketing or other promotional purpose; (B) waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the images or recordings; (C) waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the images or recordings; and (D) release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Conference Staff from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the images or recordings, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, or its publication or distribution. It is DevRelSummit’s intention that any derivative works will continue to accurately reflect the character and spirit of DevRelSummit and your participation in DevRelSummit.
Recordings by Participants
Recordings by a Participant of any kind are prohibited without prior written consent of the Participant being recorded. Participants may not capture or use the materials presented in any meeting/session room or in session notes on display without written permission. Individuals not complying with these requirements will be asked to surrender their recording media and may be asked to leave the Conference.
Personal belongings should not be left unattended in exhibit halls, meeting rooms or public areas. Unattended items are subject to removal by security. Conference Staff are not responsible for items left unattended, including any damage to or theft of your personal items.
Wireless Internet Service
DevRelSummit may provide wireless access for Participants during the Conference but cannot guarantee full coverage in all locations, all of the time. Please be respectful of your time and usage so that all Participants are able to access the Internet. Excessive usage (e.g., streaming video, gaming, multiple devices) reduces bandwidth and increases cost for DevRelSummit. No routers may be attached to the network. Properly secure your computer before accessing the public wireless network. Failure to do so may allow unauthorized access to your laptop as well as potentially introduce viruses to your computer and/or presentation. Conference Staff are not responsible for computer viruses or other computer damage.
Mobile Phones and Related Devices
Mobile phones, tablets, laptops and any similar electronic devices should be silenced during conference sessions. Please exit the conference room before answering or beginning a phone conversation.
Food and Beverages
DevRelSummit’s designated DevRelSummit caterers (“Caterer”) shall be the exclusive supplier of food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages served at the Conference. Participants shall comply with all applicable local and state liquor laws. You agree not to request, proffer, or serve alcoholic beverages to any minors, or to any persons who, in the opinion of the Caterer or Conference Staff, are intoxicated.
For the health and consideration of all Participants, smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted at DevRelSummit.
You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Conference Staff from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or relating to your participation in DevRelSummit and use of any associated facilities and child care providers.
DevRelSummit will have no liability to you on account of any loss or damage resulting from any delay, failure, or cancellation with respect to DevRelSummit if such delay or failure is caused, in whole or in part, by acts of God, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquake, fire, explosions, or other events, occurrences or causes beyond the control of DevRelSummit (each a “Force Majeure Event”). If DevRelSummit should cancel DevRelSummit for a reason other than a Force Majeure Event, registration fees processed will be refunded to registrants. Registrants will be responsible for cancellation of travel arrangements or housing reservations and the applicable fees.
